Fact number one: I'm definitely no chef. In actual fact I have been known to be so bad that I've even heated up a pre made curry wrong (all the packaging I left it in melted-it was a disaster, but thats another story!) But when I saw this super easy summery salad online a couple of weeks ago I just couldn't help but give it a try, and it only takes 5 simple steps!

This is a look I created most nights on holiday, once I had my base tan down to a T, and heres what I used:
Benefit: You Rebel Tinted Moisturisor, Nars: Laguna Bronzer, Clinique: Blush in Plum, Benefit: Gimme Brow, Eyeko: Eyeliner, Mac: Charcoal Brown Eyeshadow, Benefit: Posie Tint, Maybeline: The Flasies Mascara.
Base: I started with a tinted Moisturisor, Benefits You Rebel, as I didn't need much coverage and just wanted a nice glowing complexion. I also added Benefits Watts Up onto the tops of my cheek bones and blended with my finger.
Eyes: I used my Bronzer: Nars Laguna, buffed all over the eye lid, to give a nice bronzed colour, I love doing this to make all the tones in the make up match, I also ran it under neath the eye. I then took Charcoal Brown by Mac on a blending brush, and buffed with into the outer socket line to give my eye more shape and definition. I also smudged this into my lower lash line. To open up my eyes I used a Gosh Dazzle Dust but any gold shade you have will do, and just popped this into the inner corners of the eye. I finished with a tiny bit of the Eyeko eye liner on the outer corners of the top lash line, then finished with mascara.
Finishing Touches: I took Nars Laguna Bronzer on a big powder brush, buffing it into my cheeks, temples jaw and down the centre of my nose to create an all over bronzed look. I finished with a warm toned Blush, Clinique: Plum just onto the apples of my cheeks. I used Posie Tint from Benfit on the lips just to give a subtle hint of colour.
I really hope you enjoyed this look, let me know if your rocking the Boho Bronze look this summer!

After getting a lil bit of insp' from this months Glamour Magazine, I decided to venture back into an old favourite territory of mine, tousled messy waves, a look I'd like to think is totally 'Cali Girl Chic' look right? Heres to hoping anyway. I love a good old messy do, because its so casual and gives any girl the opportunity to have that cute bed head look, that looks so effortlessly cool (but we know its not usually that easy- no bey I don't 'wake up like this' springs to mind).
For this look I used my Babyliss waving wand again, however this time rather than split my hair into even sections I just selected random stands of hair and held them around the want for around 8 seconds each, alternating between large and small sections also alternating the directions of the wave.
I once I was happy with the amount of curls I tipped my head upside down and gave the hair a lil shake off, running my fingers through it and roughening it up to create a more messy look.
The secret weapon to this look however, was the the Loreal MATT&MESSY Sea salt spray, which i sprayed into the lengths of my hair, creating more texture and volume.
I really really love this product, I've tried and tested a few different salt sprays over the years and this is by far my favourite, its totally none greasy and shine free so it literally just does make your hair naturally look more wild and voluminous.
If your already have quite textured hair or layered (unlike my dead straight no movement hair) I'd suggest maybe not even curling the hair and just using the spray and alone it does achieve a tousled look but spraying it in and crumpling your hair with your hands while spraying, or alternatively defining sections of hair by twist them round your fingers.
Another bonus to this product is that it does brush out! I was able to put my hair in a fish tail braid the next day without getting the comb stuck in my hair, which is a regular occurrence with some products.
Hope you enjoy this post, and try out this beachy look ready for summer!

Ok, so maybe I went a bit over board at the Essie stand in Boots last week, but when its three for two how can you not?! My nails have been a bit of a state lately probably because I rarely give them much attention other than coats of paint, followed by taking it off an re applying. So I took the opportunity to invest n some new nail care products. I ended up going for the Essie Apricot Cuticle oil, I really enjoyed using this product, you just brush a tiny amount onto the nail, and then massage it it to the cuticles of the nail, softening and conditioning them. This has really helped the dry skin around my nails, and just improved the overall appearance of them, as if i've just had a manicure at home!
The second product was the Essie Help Me Grow base coat, this product was definitely worth the money! Not only does it protect my nails from the coats of colour I paint of every week, it also helps the varnish I paint on top to last longer which is a total bonus! One this i've especially noticed about this polish is that it dries matte, which is quite unusual, but I think this is what makes the colour I put on top stay for so much longer!
And finally I bought a new bright polish in the colour 'Style Hunter', now I know this is a typically summer colour, but I just couldn't help myself its so gorgeous, the perfect bright but warm toned pink!
Let me know your favourite Essie products in the comments!

Hey guys! I thought I would share an outfit of the day with you today to show my you new favourite wardrobe piece. Now these tile printed Leigh jeans had caught my eye every time I went in Topshop and Caitlin B finally convinced me to go ahead and buy them. And I'm so glad I did! They are perfect for spring, and add a little something different without being too in your face! However, I have seen a lot of girls wearing the exact same jeans at the same time, so maybe I'm not quite so different after all, I still love them though!
